After years of being a fan of Make Magazine, it was an amazing experience to be part of the inaugural World Maker Faire last year. Seeing all the cool projects created by makers was truly inspiring and it’s an honor to be displaying my work with them again this year.
For the unfamiliar, Make Magazine is about the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) movement and creating cool science and art using technology. For the past few years, Make has been putting on the Maker Faires in order to bring out some of these cool projects and creators to the public. Maker Faire feels like a giant science fair, where all the participants have bigger budgets and space to create the fantastical ideas of youth.
My work will be displayed in the Young Makers tent, since I will be displaying LEGO creations with I LUG NY, the New York based Adult LEGO organization, of which I am a member. If you do come out to the Maker Faire, come over and say hi!
