I haven’t looked too deeply into video apps yet. I use Mother TED and I know there’s TV.com for some CBS and older shows. Let me look into it a little bit and I’ll do a write up.

anyone know of any good tv apps for the droid. the only thing i miss right now is my vcast videos so i can watch shows i missed during the week..any suggestions?

I’ve had things like that happen before. It’s something in the Verizon system, not the phone itself. The only way to handle it is to call Verizon Wireless and complain.

Also make sure you and your daughter don’t get charged for all those texts. At 15 cents a piece, they really can add up.

Thanks…I just had it send 40 old text messages to my daughter and i was at a neighbor’s and didn’t have the phone with me. The best Verizon can say is it was a system gilch

The little blinking light usually means you have a new message. Either a missed call, new email, text message, etc.

VERY NEW TO DROID…find myself not wanting to put it down. Can someone tell me what the little green blinking lite is in the upper right corner

True, it does store the songs you tag with Shazam, but it also gives you a link to buy them directly from the mp3 store to the phone to buy the song/album.

Quite a few of these apps have additional features in addition to what I’ve listed above, but I wanted to just give a basic overview of each. For instance, Google Sky lets you search celestial bodies and constellations then directs you to where they are in the sky.
