Chevrolet Introduces the 2014 Camaro Z/28

I was invited by Chevrolet to visit the New York International Auto Show again this year to see their latest offerings. While many of their cars that are or will be available this year, their press conference focused on five vehicles. The 2014 Corvette Stingray, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, the 2014 SS sedan, the 2014 Camaro SS, and the Camaro Z/28.

Cruising the Sunshine State in a Chevy Camaro

When I went to Florida to run the Goofy at the Walt Disney World Marathon, I decided I would go visit family in Fort Lauderdale before trekking up to Orlando to run. Since the two cities are approximately three hours apart, I reached out to my friends at Chevrolet about borrowing a car while I was down there and they lent me a 2013 Camaro SS convertible.

Chevy Spark at the New York Comic Con

At the recent New York Comic Con, Chevy to be part of the festivities for the second year in a row. The annual east coast gathering for geek culture brought in over 100,000 fans of pop culture and Chevy was there to display their current crop of cars, including the Spark.

Chevrolet Introduces Mylink

A big showing at the NY International Auto Show this year was interactivity between cellphones and the automobile, specifically the radio. With the proliferation of smartphones and apps, it makes sense to attempt to bring that technology into the automobile, and the next iteration of Chevy’s radio technology to make use of it is called MyLink.

Taking the Chevy Sonic to a Sonic Drive-In

After the Chevy SXSW Roadtrip last year, the members of my team and I were able to keep a good relationship with the fine folks at Chevy. After attending the launch event for the Chevy Sonic, I was invited to borrow one to try out, but I needed someplace to take it. After reaching out to my friends, it was recommended by my friend Mike that I should take it to a Sonic Drive-In, and so my adventure began.

Chevy Unveils the Sonic at New York Comic Con

This past weekend at the Javitz Center in New York City was the New York Comic Con. The annual east coast gathering for geek culture, which pulled 96,000 fans of comic books and pop culture in 2010, pulls in people around the world to meet celebrities, find out the latest about tv, movies and comics, and see the latest technologies. One of those technologies this year was the 2012 Sonic from Chevrolet.

Chevy Main Street in Motion

This past Friday, I was invited to the Chevrolet Main Street in Motion event at Citi Field. This is an event that is touring 24 cities across the United States to allow people to come out over the course of a weekend and test drive an assortment of Chevy, GMC and Buick vehicles, and some of their competitor’s vehicles, on preset tracks and routes that let a driver get a taste of what driving the vehicles is like.

Every April, the New York International Auto Show happens at the Jacob Javitz Convention Center, where the auto makers show off their latest and upcoming models to the public. I was invited to attend the Auto Show’s press day to see the new cars coming from Chevrolet.
